DAY 1

Nairobi is Kenya’s capital city. It is the only city in the world that has Nairobi National Park in its urban settings, a large game reserve known for breeding endangered black rhinos and home to giraffes, zebras, and lions. Next to, it is a well-regarded elephant orphanage operated by the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. Also, host other areas of attraction like the Giraffe Centre e.t.c The Nairobi Orphanage that holds all types of wild animals and birdlife.

Guests Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

Leave the airport for Nairobi and excursions at the Giraffe Center followed by lunch at the Carnivore Restaurant. Thereafter, the guests can be taken to the Azure Hotel (Local, Asian, Continental) DBB

DAY 2

06:30 AM Breakfast. 

08:00 AM Depart from the hotel for the Aberdare National Park.

Aberdare National Park

The park provides a habitat for elephants, black rhinos, leopards, spotted hyenas, olive baboons, black and white Colobus monkeys, buffalos, warthogs, and bushbucks among others. Rare sightings include those of the Giant Forest hog, bongo, golden cat, serval cat, African wildcat, African civet cat and the blue duiker. Visitors can indulge in picnics, trout fishing in the rivers and camping in the moorlands. Bird viewing is rewarding, with over 250 species of birds in the park, including the Jackson’s Francolin, Sparrow hawks, goshawks, eagles, sunbirds, and plovers.

Arrive at the Aberdare Country Club in Nyeri. The Ark Hotel buses pick up guests for Lunch. After Lunch and check in the guests are taken for a safari in the Aberdare National Park. DBB

DAY 3

Lake Bogoria National Reserve

The lake lies in a trough below the Ngendelel Escarpment, a sheer wall 600 meters (2,000 ft) high. The lake covers 32 square kilometers (12 sq mi). It is geothermically active on the western shore, with geysers and hot springs. The geologist J.W. Gregory described the lake in 1892 as “the most beautiful view in Africa”. The reserve is in a semi-arid area. The only major river feeding the lake is the Waseges River, which rises on the northern slopes of the Aberdare Range. The lake is surrounded by grasslands dotted with bushes. There is acacia-ficus woodland to the south, and the north merges into a papyrus swamp. The park was opened in November 1970. The lake is alkaline, feeding blue-green algae, which in turn feed flamingoes. At times, the number of flamingoes feeding in the lake may be as high as two million.

08:00 AM Depart for Lake Bogoria National Reserve and arrive at the Lake Bogoria Spa Resort in time for Lunch. After some freshening up, the guests will go for a late afternoon game drive in the reserve to see the flamingoes. DBB

DAY 4

08:00 AM Depart for Lake Nakuru National Park.

Lake Nakuru National Park

“A beautiful wildlife haven”. On the floor of the Great Rift Valley, surrounded by wooded and bushy grassland, lies the beautiful Lake Nakuru National Park. Visitors can enjoy the wide ecological diversity and varied habitats that range from Lake Nakuru itself to the surrounding escarpment and picturesque ridges. The Park is ideal for bird watching, hiking, picnic, and game drives.

Upon arrival proceed for an early game drive and arrive in time for lunch at the Lake Nakuru Lodge. Leave after lunch and do a Game Drive en-route to Lake Naivasha. Arrive at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge in the late afternoon. DBB

DAY 5

Lake Naivasha National Park

It is a freshwater lake in Kenya, outside the town of Naivasha in Nakuru County, which lies northwest of Nairobi. It is part of the Great Rift Valley. The name derives from the local Maasai name Nai’posha, meaning “rough water” because of the sudden storms which can arise. The lake is home to a variety of types of wildlife including over 400 different species of birds and a sizeable population of hippos. Between 1937 and 1950, the lake was used as a landing place for flying boats on the Imperial Airways passenger and mail route from Southampton in Britain to South Africa.  

06:30 AM Breakfast 

08:00 AM Morning boat rides in the Lake to see the various birdlife and hippos. 

09:00 AM Depart for the Maasai Mara arriving in time for lunch at the Mara Sopa Lodge. Check-in thereafter head for a late afternoon game drive (Full Board)

DAY 6

The Maasai Mara National

It is a large game reserve in Narok CountyKenya, borders with the expansive Serengeti National Park in Mara RegionTanzania. It is named in honor of the Maasai people (the ancestral inhabitants of the area) and their description of the area when looked at from afar: “Mara,” which is Maa (Maasai language) stands for “spotted,” an apt description for the circles of trees, scrub, savanna, and cloud shadows that mark the area. It is globally famous for its exceptional population of lionsleopards and cheetahs, and the annual migration of zebraThomson’s gazelle, and wildebeest to and from the Serengeti every year from July to October, known as the Great Migration which is also the 7th World Wonder.

Optional (Balloon Ride and Breakfast with Balloon Pilot) – Early Morning Call.  

06:30 – 08:30 AM Breakfast  

09:00 AM Depart and meet up with balloon group for a full day game drive with packed picnic lunches. Lunch in Nature. Back to the hotel at 4 pm.

DAY 7

06:30 AM Breakfast

08:00 AM Leave for Nairobi with lunch en-route. Arrival in Nairobi at about 3 and proceed on to the Panari Hotel Nairobi for early dinner. Leave for the Airport depending on departure time
