This 2-day safari offers the perfect opportunity to experience the beauty of Amboseli National Park, one of Kenya’s most iconic wildlife destinations. Set against the magnificent backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, Amboseli is famous for its large herds of elephants, open plains, and stunning views of Africa’s highest peak.
Safari Itinerary
Your adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Mombasa and transfer to the train station to board the 8:00 a.m. SGR train to Emali.
Arrive at 1:00 p.m., where your safari guide will be waiting to transfer you to your lodge/camp near Amboseli National Park. Upon arrival, enjoy a warm welcome and a delicious lunch before heading out for your first afternoon game drive. Explore Amboseli’s vast landscapes dotted with acacia trees and marshlands, and look out for elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and hippos. As the sun sets, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Morning Game Drive & Return Drive
Wake up early for a sunrise game drive when predators are more active and the views of Mount Kilimanjaro are clearest. You’ll explore swampy areas frequented by elephants, pelicans, and hippos. After the morning drive, begin your return journey to Nairobi with optional stopovers for curio shopping or refreshments. You’ll arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon.
