This 3-day safari offers the perfect opportunity to experience the beauty of Amboseli National Park, one of Kenya’s most iconic wildlife destinations. Set against the magnificent backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, Amboseli is famous for its large herds of elephants, open plains, and stunning views of Africa’s highest peak.
Trip Itinerary
Your adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Mombasa and transfer to the train station to board the 8:00 a.m. SGR train to Emali.
Arrive at 1:00 p.m., where your safari guide will be waiting to transfer you to your lodge/camp near Amboseli National Park. Upon arrival, enjoy a warm welcome and a delicious lunch before heading out for your first afternoon game drive. Explore Amboseli’s vast landscapes dotted with acacia trees and marshlands, and look out for elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and hippos. As the sun sets, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Wake up early for a hearty breakfast before setting out on a full-day game drive. Amboseli offers some of the best opportunities to observe elephants up close, as well as buffalo, wildebeest, and a variety of birdlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch within the park, possibly at the foot of Observation Hill, where you can take in panoramic views of the park and Mount Kilimanjaro. In the afternoon, continue exploring the park’s different ecosystems — from open plains to swamp areas that attract an abundance of wildlife.
Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, check out and enjoy a relaxed drive toward Nairobi. Depending on your schedule, you can stop briefly for scenic photos along the way.
Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon and get dropped off at your hotel or at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight.
