You will be picked up early in the morning from your Nairobi hotel or the airport. After a short briefing, begin your journey toward the Maasai Mara, descending into the Great Rift Valley with a stop at a viewpoint for scenic photos.

Continue the drive through the farmlands of Narok County and arrive at your camp in time for lunch. After settling in and having a short rest, head out for an afternoon game drive in the reserve. This introductory drive gives you your first chance to spot elephants, zebras, giraffes, lions, and many more species roaming freely across the savannah.

Return to camp in the early evening for dinner and overnight.

Overnight: Masai Mara

After an early breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive inside the Masai Mara, carrying a packed picnic lunch. Spend the day exploring the open plains, riverbanks, and rolling hills of the reserve.

Your guide will position the vehicle for the best viewing opportunities as you search for the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino. The full-day format allows you to reach deeper parts of the park where wildlife sightings are even richer.

Enjoy your picnic lunch at a safe and scenic spot inside the park, then continue with game viewing until late afternoon.

Return to camp for dinner and overnight.

Enjoy breakfast at the camp, then check out and begin the drive back to Nairobi. You may have an optional short en-route game drive as you exit the reserve (depending on your camp’s location).

Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon and get dropped at your hotel, residence, or the airport for your onward flight.
