Upon arrival at Kigali international airport and passing through the immigration process, you will be welcomed by our safari driver who will, brief you shortly and drives to visit the Kigali genocide memorial grounds, which honors the memory of the more than one million Rwandans killed in 1994 through education and peacebuilding. You will be able to watch and listen to some video clips from some of the survivors’ of the incident. Later you will proceed for lunch and drive to your booked accommodation in Muanze, where you will reach in the evening and relax.

Early morning cup of coffee, then prepare for the briefing from the park officials and thereafter enter the jungle to search the shy mountain gorillas and enjoy their life style in their real home. After meeting the gorillas, you can sit around these great apes for a whole hour gazing into their big round eyes. On a gorilla safari, a reasonable degree of fitness is required as well as walking shoes, packed food and mineral water, insect repellent, sun screen and hut. The gorilla tracking experience takes half or whole day depending on the movement of these primates. After this gorilla tracking experience, you will drive to your lodge for lunch. After lunch at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Get ready for your second gorilla trekking. Today you will trek another gorilla group, where you will have another different experience to encounter another gorilla family. As the first trek, the same procedure will be followed for the second gorilla trekking. You will later return and transfer to your booked accommodation for lunch. Retire in afternoon at your lodge.

Early morning breakfast, and later get into your jeep and drive off to Kigali, reach and catch up with lunch, and after lunch, head for city tour with a visit to local market, and art galleries, if time permits, before transfer to the airport to catch up with your afternoon flight. End of service!
