Nairobi National Park
This is a national park in Kenya that was established in 1946 about 7 km (4.3 mi) south of Nairobi. It is fenced on three sides, whereas the open southern boundary allows migrating wildlife to move between the park and the adjacent Kitengela plains. The park has a large and diverse wildlife population. Species found in the park include lion, leopard, African buffalo, black rhinoceros, giraffe, hippopotamus, spottedhyena, blue wildebeest, plains zebra, cheetah, Thomson’s gazelle, Grant’s gazelle, common eland, impala, hartebeest, waterbuck, common warthog, olive baboon, black-backed jackal, common ostrich, and Nile crocodile.
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Wilson Airport where you will board schedule flight to Selenkay Airstrip, met and transferred to Porini Amboseli Camp, check in, have lunch and have an afternoon game drive dinner and overnight at the hotel with an all-inclusive meal plan basis.
On these two days you will get to explore the great Amboseli with unlimited full day game drives with planned packed picnic lunch, in between visits to the Selenkay conservancy and a visit to the Masai village here you get to interact with Masai warriors and get a verbal education about the Masai culture. Breakfast, lunch and dinner at the camp on all inclusive meal plan.
AMBOSELI
Amboseli offers some of the best opportunities to see African wildlife because the vegetation is sparse due to the long, dry months. It is also home to many species, including African bush elephants, Cape buffaloes, impala, East African lions, cheetahs, spotted hyenas, Masai giraffes, Grant’s zebras, and blue wildebeest among other African animals
After breakfast depart for a days game drive Ol Pejeta Conservancy and visit to Chimpanzee Sanctuary. Lunch dinner and overnight at the camp.
ACTIVITIES AT THE OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY
a) Canine anti- poaching unit visit. Here you come into contact with dogs that have been trained to become anti- poaching patrollers. And get to firsthand experience of the dogs’ trainings by the activities you get to do in the place like playing human canine hide and seek.
b) Lion tracking. This is fun because you will contribute towards lions’ conservation. You will spend time with the researchers to track and learn more about the lions living there.
c) Riding with rhinos in the endangered species enclosure. Here you get to horse ride within the endangered species enclosure, this area offers you the opportunity to encounter a myriad of plains game. However, the highlight of this activity is to meet the last remaining northern white rhinos Najin and Fatu daughters of Sudan who happened to be the last male of the species before it died in march 2018.
d) Junior ranger programs. This is a program that ensures young ones don’t feel bored in the conservancy.
Fly to Ol Seki Airstrip, met and transferred to Porini Mara Camp for 2 nights with daily Ol Kinyei & Naboisho Conservancy fees, then afterwards check out and game drive enroute via Naboisho Conservancy and into Olare Motorogi Conservancy to arrive at Porini Lion Camp for 3 nights with daily Olare Motorogi Conservancy fees and one day Masai Mara Game Reserve entrance fee.
MASAI MARA
This is one of Kenya’s most visited reserves due to its extraordinary wildlife density, including the “big five” and many other varieties of plains game. The Mara River cuts through the Mara and Serengeti ecosystems, giving life to the both reserves before finally pouring out into the Lake Victoria. Impressive and most notable are the wildebeest, zebra and gazelle that migrate by instinct from the Serengeti in Tanzania to the Masai Mara in Kenya. This journey is coupled by numerous obstacles, which makes it even more magnificent
